isiYalo National Writers Guild started working informally from 1983 and was formally launched on 28 August 1993. On the 27 August 2009 it was registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). Its main objectives were to develop, promote, protect and preserve isiNdebele as our one and only Indigenous African Language.
